Note: Alias:<ALIA> /Gracie/ REFN2 Address:<ADDR> 6 Bryn Rd. Glyncorrwg Port Talbot West Glam. SA13 3AJ Wales, UK. Margaret Grace Loveday was born on the 26th January 1933 in the village of Glyn neath, where she grew up as part of a very large family. During her school days Grace showed that she had a caring nature so much that on leaving school she decided to look after people. With this Grace went to work as a nurse at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tonna, Neath and especially the Children s Ward. Grace married Frankie on 18 July 1953 and went on to care for their own children, in that time Grace was what you would call `a brass band widow` as Frank persuade his love of music. Times were hard for them both with living in a mining valley, but it was good. After many ups and downs Grace saw her children grow up and lead their own lives, but like any mother they were never out of her sight! On Philips enlistment into the Army, Grace started to feel the strain, more so when he was posted to Northern Ireland, which happened a lot during the 1970`s. After a few incidents , the once brown hair turned rather silverish in colour. Which she kept until her death on the 12 October 1998 through a massive heart attack. Her funeral was held on the 16the October 1998 at Cymmer Cemetery near Neath. The funeral was a very well attended affair, with family and friends from near and far away. Many represented choirs and brass bands that Frankie was involved or had been involved with during her lifetime. But most of her family was there for all to see.
