Note: John B. Cifelli, Sr., 88 of 14 Becker Ave. died yesterday in the Herb
Note: ert Nursing Home Home, Smithfield. He was the husband of Mrs. Clara (Janello) Cifelli. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Vittoria (Paolucci) Cifelli. A former resident of North Providence, he lived in Johnston the last 12 years. He was employed bt the Rhode Island Window Cleaning COmpany of Providence for 30 years prior to his retirement in 1942. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, John B. Cifelli Jr. of Providence and Joseph of Johnston; two daughters Mrs. Florence Boudreau and Mrs. Virginia Sabella, both of North Providence; three brothers, Ernest CIfelli of Los Angeles, Calif., Edward Cifelli of Canoga Park, Calif., J. Nicholas Cifelli of Warwick; three sisters, Mrs Mary Russell of Warwick, Mrs Susie Bonitati of Providence and Mrs. Lena Schiavulli of California; 13 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
The funeral will be held Friday at 8:15 am from the Elliot M. Robbins Chapel, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., Centredale, with a Mass of ChristianBurial at the ST. Lawrence's Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
