Note: his younger sister and brother were born in Canada - Fanny (Frances) and Jake. Parents came to Canada and lived in Arrowood, Alberta. Oldest brother was Alex. Father worked on the CPR in Arrowood. ------------------ WIESHLOW, William April 7, 1929 - December 15, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Wieshlow on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the age of 80 years, at the Foothills Hospital. Bill will be dearly missed by his daughter & son-in-law, Laurel & Wade Johnson & grandchildren, Lilly & Gilbert of Grenfell, Saskatchewan, as well as special friend & confident, Isabel (Elizabeth) Kanik of Calgary. Also leaving a sister (Fran) & brother (Jack) & numerous other loving family members, extended family & many friends. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Lil Wieshlow in 2004. A celebration of life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion, #284 Chapelhow, 606-38th Avenue NE, on Monday, December 21st, 2009 3:30-6pm.
