a. Note:   This child is listed in the 1871 census as daughter of Enoch. However, I believe that this is the child listed in 1851 census with Isaac Brown and Rachel Paine as grand-daughter and she is possibly the child of Elizabeth Brown before marrying Enoch?? It may be Enoch's child or it may have been a child born out of wedlock to someone else. Names in 1851 census is Maria Brown. I don't believe she is Enoch's as Enoch was in Stroud in 1851 (living with his deceased wife's parents and Elizabeth was in Whiteshill in 1851 listed as single living with her parents. Enoch's first wife died around the same time Mary Elizabeth Brown was born so it is not likely his child.
