  Hi My mothers maiden name was Constance Pounder and she married Walter Walker and they lived in Bolton. Married just before the second war and had three children. I don't know much about the Pounder side of the family. My mothers father was A E Pounder who died in 1945 aged 60.   I was speaking with my mother today and the subject of the above cropped up. The information remembered is relayed here in case it is of interest or previously unknown.
  It seems that in regard to William Rowland Cooper : when he died, the two executors to the will were
  1 Stanley Hargraves (Solicitor) and husband of Ellen (Nellie) Cooper, the daughter of the above 2. The husband of Connie Pounder (he also was a solicitor named Walker)
  Also, she remembers that Connie Pounder was the secretary to Sir Geoffrey Hulton of Hulton (Hulton Park)
