Note:   I think Calvin Edward Habgood is my great grandfather, as James Habgood, his brother is found in the 1891 and 1901 census England. my great grandfather was registered as Calvin Edward Habgood. - This is confirmed. I have the birth certificate. Born March 14, 1866 to George Habgood and Eliza Iles ---a boy, Calvin Edward Habgood, in Woodchester, Gloucestershire. This matches very closely with the date of birth given in the 1901 census of March 18, 1867.

  Edward HABGOOD, 1862 - 1952 (only a plot...physically in Camrose) Ellen HABGOOD, 1860 - 10 Oct 1932 James Alder HABGOOD, 22 Jun 1894 - 28 Oct 1928 all buried next to each other in plot B,02 of the Strathmore cemetery at Strathmore.

  I was at the Alberta Archives to day and so also had a look at the Camrose Birth, Marriage and death Register for 1952 & 1953.
  Edward D. HABGOOD died 22 April 1953 , informant D.J. Crawley, interred in Camrose cemetery. _____________________ 1891 Census states age as 27(ie, b. abt 1863-1864) 1901 Census states his age as 34 (ie., b. abt 1867)
  When I sent away for birth certificate, there were no James Habgood's born in 1862-1864 in Woodchester. I believe the correct year of birth is closer to 1867, like the 1901 Census states. I sent away for a certificate for Edward Habgood and there was none b. Mar 18, 1867 (1866-1868) in Woodchester. I am sending one away for James Habgood b. Note:   difficult to see on the marriage certificate if married 1889 or 1890. Ellen immigrated to Canada in 1889 so perhaps she knew Edward in Gloucestershire before coming over for a planned marriage to him. Pretty unlikely...I think she married in 1890.
