Marriage:
Notes
a. Note:   32 years old in the 1901 Census living in Gillingham in the same household as his mother, Lydia. This must be a transcription error given that he was married in 1902 at age 30. One date must be wrong
There are many, many Farthing marriages recorded, but the one which may interest you most is in Stourton, Wiltshire, 5 August 1902. On this date the marriage took place of Charles Farthing and Florence Agnes Macey. The fathers were Charles Farthing and James Macey, and ages 30 and 19 respectively so this is probably Charles John Farthing. If so, it is interesting that he should go back to his father's old parish to get married. The couple may well have living descendants.
