Note: Birth date in Furrows to the Future: Oxbow-Glen Ewan. By son Robert Hill.
She attended Mount Pleasant School them worked for James Foster at the Glen Ewe n Post Office for several years. She married Joseph Hill in 1923 and they had o ne son, Robert. Joe passed away in 1942. In 1947, she married Roscoe Harrison a nd lived on a farm west of Glen Ewen, later moving to a farm north of Oxbow. Th ey retired from farming in 1966, and moved to their new home in Oxbow. Roscoe p assed away in 1976 at the age of 79 and Vera passed later in Oxbow.
