  Arthur Bugden, one of the eight sons of James and Elizabeth (nee Jestican) Bugden to settle in Petley. Along with some of his brothers, he had a water-driven sawmill in the Petley area.
  According to a note from Valerie Dingwall Barrett, Arthur had 21 children .
