Notes
a. Note:   In the Vital Records of Eastham, MA all of the children are listed as the children of Jonathan; but no mother is mentioned although it is clear that Jonathan married Abigail in 1725. (It is this Jonathan that we would like to believe to be the father of Jonathan, b. 1723, d. 1797.
Elisha is not mentioned in Jonathan's will; and is believed to hhave died by this time. Sarah also is not mentioned but her children, Alice and Theophilus Mayo, are mentioned as grandchildren. Sarah had probably also died by 1777.
Descendants of Robert Linnell by Rachel W. Linnell, Pa. 18
From Jason Quick I randomly found another piece of evidence that solidifies the (11a,b1) line to Jonathan Linnell (117,5)
It's an inventory and account of Jonathan Linnell Sr's (117,5) estate in 1777 in Eastham, Mass.
It shows Jonathan Jun. (11a,b1) of Eastham, Yeoman, was assigned to take Inventory of the estate of Jonathan Linnell, late of Eastham. It's in Book 20 pgs. 78-80 in the Barnstable County probate records, and is separate from his will.
It does not specifically say they are father and son but inventories were generally done by a son or son in-law.
