Note: OBITUARY
Eula James Parker Strong passed away on August 31 at the age of 93. She was born January 28, 1901, in Manor, Texas and grew up in McDade, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband H. W. (Dick) Strong. A long time resident of Austin, the loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother will be remembered as a faithful and active memer of the Church of Christ in Hyde Park, kind-hearted friend and neighbor, avid cross word puzzler and great baker of cookies. "Mom Mom" is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Roy Bullock of Austin; daughter Janice Hawley of Austin; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, in the Weed-Corley Chapel with Dennis Crawford officiating.
