  PROBA TE COURT NO.1 THE STATE OF Texas I COUNTY OF HARRIS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS THAT: I, VELMA F. HILL, of Harris County, Texas, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, and above the age of twenty- ; one (21) years, do make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made.. I. It is my desire, and I so direct, that all of my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, including any inheri� tance or estate taxes that may be assessed against my Estate, be paid by my Executrix hereinafter appointed, as soon after my death as may be convenient. II. I give, devise and bequeath to my son, W. M. Hill, Jr. the sum of One and No/lOO ($1.00) Dollar. III. All the rest, residue and remainder of the property which I may own at the time of my death, real, personal and mixed of whatsoever nature and wheresoever situated, including all property which I may acquire or become entitled to after the execution of this Will, including all lapsed devises, I give, devise and bequeath to my four (4) children, William Harvey Brandt of Baytown , Texas. John Thomas Hill of Houston, Texas, Ann Elizabeth Morgan of Houston, Texas, and Gladys Engleman of Deer Park, Texas, or to the survivor or survivors, share and share alike. IV. I nominate, constitute and appoint my daughter, ANN ELIZABETH MORGAN, Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament and of my Estate, and I direct that no bond or surety be re� quired of her and that no action shall be had in the Probate Court in relation to the settlement of my Estate other than the probating and recording of this Will and the return of the statutory inventory, appraisement and list of claims of my Estate. I vest my Executrix with full power and authority to sell, lease, encumber, or otherwise dispose of or convert any or all of my Estate in such manner as she may see fit, it being my.. desire that, subject only to the terms of this Will, my Executrix shall have full power and authority to do all things reasonably necessary for the settlement of my Estate. THIS I MAKE AND PUBLISH as my Last Will and Testament, hereto signing my name this 13th day of November, A.   SELF-PROVING AFFIDAVIT STATE OF Texas COUNTY OF HARRIS Before me, the undersigned authority, on this day personally appeared VELMA F. HILL known to me to be the Testatrix and the witnesses, respectively, whose names are subscribed to the annexed and foregoing instru� ment in their respective capacities, and all of the said persons being by me duly sworn, the said VELMA F. HILL Testatrix, declared to me and to the said witnesses in my presence that said instrument is her last will and testament, and that she had willingly made and executed it as her free act and deed for the purposes pressed, and the said witnesses, each on their oath, stated to me, in the presence an hearing of said Testatrix, tbat said Testatrix had declared to them that said instrument is her last will and testament, and that she executed the same as such and wanted each of them to sign the same as such and wanted each of them to sign it as a witness; and upon tbeir oaths each witneas stated further tbat they did sign the same as witnesses in tbe presence of the said Testatrix and at her request; and that sbe was at that time, eighteen years of age or over, and was of sound mind; that each of tbe said witnesses was then at least fourteen years of age.
