Note: Letter from Laquita Hill Dixon (1101 Poindexter, Ft. Worth, Texas 767102) to Elva Sue Hill Green on Oct. 9, 2000 So glad to get the informationfrom you and I've shown it to some other family members. Some want copies. My eldest brother, Richard, said Andrew (William Travis's brother) brought three of William's sons to Texas with him---Charlie, Louis, and John (I don't find a Charlie in my records). They came by covered waon. Then Grandmother Temperance came later with the girls and daddy (Asa Joshua). He was just a few month old when William was killed. They came by train. It was quite a few years before Louis went on to California. Daddy cared for his mother until she passed away in 1911. He was about 52 when he married and they had seven children. He passed away in 1949 at age 86. His oldest child, Juanita, will be 85 next month and I am the youngest and just turned 69. I really hope you can come (to the reunion). My nephew, Ted, has a huge printout of the family tree that you will enjoy seeing. Hope things are going better with your family. Love, Lequita
