Note: Obit: Fayetteville Observer, page 8 Mr. Thomas David Lasater, aged 55 years 10 months and 5 days died of paralysus at his home on Lincoln Ave. in Fayetteville on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1917. He was reared in Marshall Co. and for twenty-seven years had lived in this place and his course was such as to build himself up in the estimation of every one. He had served on the Board of Aldermen and carefully watched the affairs of the town. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. J. F. Beasley and Elder T. C. Little, burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. He is survived by his wife and a daughter Miss Ora Thomas Lasater.
