Curry Jo McElroy Boesch, cjboesch@@Texasucom.net "Among my mother's papers I have found a handwritten record titled PAPA'S FAMILY: It states that Grandpa Hill (J. T. Hill) married Mama's sister (Pearl Allison) March 14, 1878 and that she died November 30, 1913. Children of Aunt Pearl: Roy Hill, Gene Hill, Jay Hill, Leah Hill, Christine Hill, Fannie Olga Hill. Mother's note states further that Fannie Olga was born at Aunt Pearl's death. That she was raised by Uncle Willie and Aunt Fannie (Papa's (Arthur Ray Hill) brother and wife. Don't know how many days before Aunt Pearl's death that Fannie Olga was born." Curry Jo Elva Sue Hill Green, Asuegreen@@aol.com "Hi Curry Jo, It was great to hear from you and to get information on the family. I am sure that Pearl's death date is correct and is on her tombstone, but Fannie Olga's birth certificate has her being born in 1914, which has to be incorrect. Perhaps Fannie just never knew when she was born, since she was raised by her older half brother."
Lilly Jean Beal Engleman, lillyj57@@aol.com Birth Certificate for Frances has she was born Aug. 26, 1914. Somewhere people got dates wrong either for her or for the death of her mother. Sue Green, a niece, has Frances born Nov. 11, 1913. This would seem to be the correct date since her mother is listed as dying Nov. 30, 1913, per information from her headstone, which was read by me and from the Robertson Co. Cemetery Book.
