  Baytown, Texas, Dec. 5, 1949 Max O. Anderson, Sr. was killed here Monday when he was pinned under a car on which he was working. The accident occured in the back yard at the home of his son, Max O. Anderson Jr. Witness told Justice of the Peace Roscoe Zierlein that Anderson, a retired blacksmith, had blocked under the tire and had removed the left wheel. He had crawled under the car and was working when the car slipped from the block, the spring shackles striking him as the car fell. Mr. Anderson had lived here 32 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Etta Anderson of Baytown; two daughters Mrs. W. A. Watson of Baytown, Mrs. Joe Partain of Houston; two sons, M. A. Jr. of Baytown and Frank Anderson of Bellville; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. C. G. Owen at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home.
