Wilson, about 65, a retired Army veteran, was in Liberty Jail charged with murdering his wife, Ruby Mae Wilson, 59, near Plum Grove. He allegedly killed her with a shotgun Tuesday night, according to investigating officer Liberty Co. Deputy Sheriff Gene Morrow. The slain woman's daughter discovered her in her home. NOTE: Age for Ruby Mae should be 54 in above article. Russell A. Wilson died the night before he was to go to trial for the murder of Ruby Mae.
