a. Note:   Baytown Sun, Baytown, Texas, Nov. 4, 2001 Funeral services for Max A. "Buck" Anderson, Jr., 85, of Cove, Texas will be Monday, November 5, 2001, at 10 a.m. in Sterling White Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Biddy officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2001 at the funeral home. Buck was born January 26, 1916 in Seabrook, Texas and passed away Saturday November 3, 2001 in Houston. He had lived in the area since 1953, and retired from Exxon after 42 years of service. He was a firm but kind man who enjoyed gardening, hunting, and shrimping of the Trinity River. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Etta Anderson; brother, Frank Anderson, and sister Ruby Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mable Anderson, of Cove; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Elmo Camp, of Cove; sister Corrine Duncan, of Baytown; grandsons, Chaise Camp, Ty Camp, and Joshua Camp, all of Cove; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cecil Winfree, Ernie Winfree, Butch Reynolds, Dale Reynolds, Melvin Anderson, and Johnny Anderson.
