Note: "Emigrants of the Emerald Isle" by Gail White (info sent by Patricia Pepple (ppepple@@myjaycounty.con) Nov. 2002) Martha White was raised by an uncle Robin Taylor who was married to the sister of Unknown Hunter.
I am not positive this is the same Martha, need to check it out: Abstracts of Court Orders of Wythe Co., VA 1831-1840, Vol. 4, Compiled and Edited by Mary B. Kegley page 155, July 9, 1839 It was ordered that the overseers of the poor or any two were to bind out Martha White, a pauper to John L. Johnston.
