According to oral history they lived in a one room log house with a dirt floor and even though she was a very young teenaged girl she wanted a clean house. She married (2) ? McCormick and had children---1. Edna, 2. Flora, 3. Woodrow (Woody), 4. Bertha. She married (3) ? On the census the first letter was written over and I think when they did the soundex they couldn't make it out. On the index for the death certificate of Vinie her name is spelled "Virgie". Oakwood Cemetery in Waco has her name as "Vinnie" as does the death certificate for Thomas Whaley Patrick. Death certificate has her name as Virie L.
