Note:   From Jordan's Banks, a Lasater Family History, by Barbara Jo Preas, 610 7th Ave. N, Lewisburg, TN 37091, pg. 68 William Ernest Lasater, age 88, died Monday morning at Marshall Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2 pm from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Floyd Funeral Home by Rev. John Horn. Interment was in Head Springs Cemetery in Belfast. He was a native of Marshall County, son of the late Daniel James and Addie Cortner Lasater, retired from the State of Tennessee and a member of the Union Presbyterian Church. Survivors include one son, Bobby Lasater of Lewisburg; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lloyd Coffey, Claude Coffey, Jerry Beech, Billy Beech, Mike Conder, and Charles Miller.
