Survived by wife of 55 years, Monty Caplen, Pasadena; son and daughter-in-law Barry and Becky Caplen of Deer Park, sisters and brother-in-law, Louise Sheffield, Houston; Joy and Earl Ashcraft, Anahuac; Ruth Hall, Houston; 3 grandchildren.
