Note:   Fort Worth Star Telegram, Fort Worth, Texas, Oct. 4, 1968 Funeral services for Mrs. Brooks Morris, 82, of 1614 Sunset Terrace will be held at 10 am tomorrow at First Presbyterian Church, with burial at Greenwood. Mrs. Morris, a native of Abilene, married the founder and director of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in 1915. She studied music and taught voice and piano at Polytechnic College and Hemphill Conservatory of Music. She and her husband spent several years in New York studying and giving concerts. Mrs. Morris was a charter honorary member of the Woman's Club, Monday Book Club, and the Euterpean Club. She was an honorary life member of the Texas Christian University Faculty Women and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband; a son, Brooks Morris Jr. of Evergreen, Colo.; a sister, Miss Lucy White of Cuernavaca, Mexico; and four grandchildren.
