M. White, who had spend 84 of her 92 years in Texas, died early Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Brooks Morris, 1614 Sunset Terrace. Mrs. White was born in Fincastle, Virginia and came to Texas with her family, which settled at Buffalo Gap. Her marriage to D. M. White was the first to take place in Abilene when that city had nothing more than tents. Mrs. White had called Fort Worth her home for the last 40 years. In recent years, she had divided her time between the Morris home and that of another daughter, Miss Lucy White, in San Antonio. She had been in good health until the last few months. As late as the summer of 1954, Mrs. White had made long automobile trips, the last from Taos, N.M. with her son-in-law, Brooks Morris. She was a member of Central Methodist Church here. Survivors also include two grandchildren, Brooks Morris Jr., of Evergreen, Colorado, and Mrs. Daniel Pyzel of Tampa, Fla., and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. White will be held at 4 pm Saturday in Martha Nored Chapel of Central Methodist Church. Burial will be in Greenwood. Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Brooks Morris, Miss Lucy White, both of Fort Worth; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Services 4 pm Saturday. Martha Nored Chapel, Central Methodist Church, Rev. Oran Stephens officiating. Interment Greenwood. Pallbearers: Karl Reimers, Conde Morris, Joseph Morris, Billy Morris, William Brown, Watt Reynolds. Honorary Pallbearers: Gen. Richard Dunbar, Dr. James Barcus, Richard Brown, Brooks Morris Jr., Sanford Sellers, Theron Porter, Dr. Sheldon Barcus, John Wesley Jones, Daniel Pyzel IV, Hubert Green, Dr. George Stoker, Col.
