Notes
a. Note:   Bracken County, KY was formed in 1796 from parts of Campbell and Mason Counties in Kentucky. Mason County was one of the three original counties in Kentucky, which itself was formed from Kentucky County, Virginia.
Noted in Weik's 1910 history of Putnam County that Benjamin P. King was junior warden of Temple Lodge No. 47 of the Free and Accepted Masons, which was organized May 28, 1842. Also noted that King moved from Putnam County to Illinois about 1849/1850, staying there for 10 years, and returning about 1859 or 1860. (Weik: page 572)
