Note: Serena King born in Greencastle (Putnam Co ) Indiana June 23, 1842. Died July 21, 1921 Manhattan (Riley Co ) Kansas. United With the Baptist Church as a young girl. Married Zedock Plummer Oct 1, 1867 in Putnam County Indiana. Six children born to them with one son born Mar 20 and died Mar 27, 1870 and buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Union Township Pottawatomie County Kansas. One daughter born Aug 8, 1872 and died Aug 18, 1872 buried with her parents in the Moodyville Cemetery in Pottawatomie County Kansas. Another son Alonzo Lee died March 27, 1905, at the age of 31, of pneumonia in Topeka. She had three sons living at the time of her death. One son William Oscar was born Apr 4, 1871 and died Nov 4, 1925 now also buried in the Moodyville, Cemetery. The secong son J. Eugene was born June 26, 1875 and died Sept 18, 1922. The third son John Martin was born January 22, 1878 and died Feb 6, 1923 at Golden, Colorado. At the time of her death, she also had one sister Mrs EN Houck and one brother CW King living in Greencastle, Indiana and one brother FB King living in Nebraska.
