Note: DAVID SAYLE (BK10, JC220) Maureen Ivy Sullivan David was born at Brighton, Victoria, on the 26th.June 1933,and was delivered by Dr. Chambers. He was to have been christened David Osler, however the informant registered him as David. The birth was registered in the District of Melbourne, Victoria. Registration number 8431. David was a boarder at Brighton Grammar School, and held the record for the most number of dinner plates broken at the one time. He was putting a pile of plates away after they had been washed, when he dropped them and broke thirteen. David worked at Lara, Victoria. David managed a plant nursery for a couple of years. He married Maureen Ivy Sullivan, born on the 18th.February 1937, in Carlton, Victoria. Maureen was a very good cook, and was employed as such. They had a cake shop in West Rosebud, Victoria for a couple of years, and then moved into partnership with David’s brother, Peter, at Rosebud, in a milk bar / cake shop. David worked for ???? years at the Churchill Power Station, in the Latrobe Valley, Gippsland, Victoria, where he was a Plant Operator in the Power Station control room. He retired in 19?? He is now breathless after a lung cancer operation left him with half his lungs in use. During this time they were living in the township of Churchill, where they had four children:- Sean Andrew Sayle, born on the 6th.October 1964, Jodi Nicole Saye, born on the 21st.July 1966, Glen David Sayle, born on the 4th.September 1968, and Coralie Ann Sayle, born on the 26th.May 1969. see Medical Notes.
