Note: (Research):May and her son, William Earl Thompson, are living in the home of Adam D. and Jefferson Johnston in 1900. May is enumerated as being a widow and also Adam's sister-in-law. William E. is enumerated as Adam's nephew-in-law. Both Jefferson's and May's father was enumerated to be from South Carolina and their mother from Florida. Jefferson (Allen) Johnston is May Dyke's half-sister. Adam and Jefferson's children are: Saul, b. July 1889, Eva P., b. December 1890 and Baby (male), b. May 1900. Jefferson was born October 1867 and Adam was born January 1865. This is the obituary for Margaret May's half-sister. Roll of the Dead Johnston--Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock over the remains of Mrs. Jefferson A. Johnston, who died suddenly Thursday morning. The services will be held from the residence, No. 920 Twiggs Street. Interment will be made in Woodlawn cemetery under the direction of B. Marion Reed. Following is the list of pallbearers: D.M. Cook, J.W. Henderson, Ernest C. Harris, C.G. Stephens, W.V. Cole, O.G. Sexton, Jr. The pallbearers are requested to meet at 2:15 o'clock.
