  St. Petersburg Times (FL) - April 10, 1987 Deceased Name: WHITEHURST , GEORGE C. WHITEHURST, GEORGE C., 62, of Inverness, died Tuesday (April 7, 1987) at his residence. Born in Plant City, he came here 17 years ago from St. Petersburg and was clerk of works for Citrus Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Ocala Carpenters Union and a Protestant. Survivors include his wife Marjorie; three stepsons, Robert Taylor, Naples, Fla., James Massey, Tennessee, and Paul Massey, Georgia; a daughter Tammy Wyka, Inverness; five stepdaughters, Ann Spindle, Immokalee, Susi e Hofschneider, Cape Coral, Sandy Wobbe, Naples, Linda Walton, Inverness, and Wanda Smith, Nebraska; 20 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
