Note: (Research):Obituary: Tampa Tribune, November 4, 1973 Mr. Jasper W. Tucker, 82, of 6703 North Rome Avenue, Tampa, Florida passed away Friday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Chapel of the F.T. Blount Company Funeral Home, 5101 Nebraska Avenue, with Dr. J. Earl Tharp, pastor of the New Orleans Baptist Church, officiating. Active pallbearers will be Edward W. Blackburn, Ronald Gilbert, Donald Gilbert, Walter P. Thayer, Roger D. Thayer, and Tom Watts. Memberrs of the Mens's Bible Class, Adult No. 4, of the New Orleans Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A native of Balm, Florida, Mr. Tucker had been a lifetime resident of Hillsborough County. He was a member of the New Orleans Baptist Church, a veteran of World War I, and a past member of the American Legion, Seminole Post No. 111. Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian Mae Tucker, Tampa, Fla.; 1 son, William Earle Tucker, Tampa, Florida; 3 daughters, Mrs. Claudia Watts, Mrs. Joni Hunt, and Mrs. Sue Thayer, all of Tampa, Florida; 13 grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren; 2 brothers, Edgar J. Tucker, Plant City, Fla., and Dennis Tucker, Seattle, Wash.; and 1 sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Pritchard, Tampa, Florida.
