  �b�Mulberry Man Killed In Crash�/b� A man died and several people were injured in four separate traffic accidents yesterday in East Hillsborough County.
  Charles Alexander Burdette, 68, of Mulberry, died yesterday afternoon as a result of driving his car out from a grocery store driveway into the path of a car travelling just south of Coronet on the Springhead Rd., Sherriff's Traffic Officers Archie Adair and Russell Holsberry reported.
  Driver of the other car was identified as Oliver William Phillips, 50, of Plant City, who himself suffered a possible broken right knee.
  His passengers were his 47-year-old wife, who received head cuts, a broken left hip and left foot and multiple bruises, and her mother, Mrs. Florence Hamilton, in the late 70's of the Springhead section, who suffered head cuts and possibly other injuries. Condition of the three ranged from "fair" to "good" last night in Tampa Hospital.
  Both cars in the death crash were almost total losses, with damages estimated at $1800.

  Charles Alexander Burdette was a member of Knight of Pythias Lodge, Plant City, Florida in 1905 and his photo appears in Quintilla Geer Bruton and David E. Bailey, Jr.'s book , Plant City: Its Origin and History (2nd Ed.). Winston Salem, NC: Hunter Publishing Co, 1984.
  According to the 1930 U.S. Federal Census, he was living in Port Arthur Texas with his children Charles, Hazel and Thelma. His business was dry cleaning.
