  Living by himself on the 1910 U.S. Census for Hillsborough Co., FL, 12th precinct, p. 138. His occupation was guard at the county convict camp in Boyette.
  His granddaughter, Annie (Sumner) Mason recalls that Thomas lived with Delona and her family for a number of years.
  His grandson, Charles Eugene Thompson, recalls that Thomas Lewis Thompson would walk all the way from Gibsonton to Sulphur Springs [Crawford Street and 10th] to visit with family. Grandfather was older then and did not drive, so his son Coy would drive him back to Gibsonton after he stayed a few days.

  Obituary Thomas L. Thompson Thomas Lewis Thompson, 82, died yesterday morning at his home in Riverview. He is survived by two sons, Leslie Irvin Thompson and McCoy Thompson, of Tampa; four daughters, Mrs. Lona Sumner, of Tampa; Mrs. Lillie Connell, of Riverview; Mrs. Violet Courtney, of Clanton; Mrs. Jeneta DeAngelo, of Tampa; one brother, Bill Thompson, of Riverview; a sister, Mrs. Warren Hall, of Tampa; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
