Note: (Research):May have first married Mary Jane Williams, 17 Deceber 1921, in Hillsborough County, Florida. Belonged to the Holiness Church. He met his second wife while working for Otis Elevator up in Tennessee. Uncle Irvin was in the installation arm of the Otis Elevator business. Obituary: Tampa Tribune, August 24, 1974 Thompson Mr. Leslie Irvin Thompson, 77, of 9901 18th Street, died Friday. Born in Wimauma, he resided a lifetime in Hillsborough County and was a member fo the Northside Pentecostal Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Thompson, Tampa; brother, M. A. Thompson, Tampa; sisters, Mrs. Michael D'Angelo and Mrs. Violet Thompson, Gibsonton. Funeral services will be held from the Northside Pentecostal Church God, Bougainvilla & 17th St., Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. W. W. Pennington, pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Snipes-Hamilton Funeral Home, 6718 N. Armenia Ave., Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. Death Notices: Tampa Tribune, August 25, 1974 Thompson Funeral services for Leslie I. Thompson, 77, of 9901 18th St., will be conducted Monday morning at 10 o'clock from the Northside Pentecostal Church of God, Bougainvilla & 17th St. with Rev. W. W. Pennington, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. He was a member of Northside Pentecostal Church of God and retired from Otis Elevator Company. Pallbearers to ??? Johnston, Evan Steward, Glen Hammett, J.
