Note:   (Research):1883 LAND RECORD: State of Florida Tract Book, Hillsborough County, July 14, 1883 for 40 acres in the NW1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 26, Township 30S, Range 20E. This is in present day Riverview, Florida located at the intersection of Rainbridge Drive and Nightingale Drive.

  Born in Florida according to the 1860 and 1870 U.S. Federal Census Report. 1900 and 1910 Census report lists her place of birth as Georgia.
  Was visting her sister Rebecca and brother-in-law Tharpe Spence on the 1900 U.S. Census, Thomas Co., Spence. She is enumerated as a visitor and a widow and lists her date of birth as January 1840.
  The 1900 United States Federal Census Record shows that she was the mother of 10 children, 8 living.
  Living with her son William A. Thompson on the 1920 Riverview, Hillsborough Co. census.
  Louisa received a pension. Her pension application, dated 17 August 1909, #16845, granted under Cert. No. 2913, approved 13 Sept. 1909, to be paid from 1 July 1909 $120.00 per year. Claim dated 24 December 1903, says L.L. Thompson also applied 6 June 1898.
  The Silent Host: Tampa Tribune, September 24, 1922 Thompson-Mrs. Eiza Thompson, aged eighty-one years, died at her residence in Riverview yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock. The deceased is survived by her husband, Louis Thompson, a daughter, Mrs. Warren Hall, and five sons, D. W. and T. L., Alex., and W. A. and F. M. Thompson, of Tampa and Riverview. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, from the Riverview Methodist church, Rev. S. G. Meadows officiating. Interment in the Riverview cemetery by Undertaker J. L. Reed.
