Note: (Research):Lived in Torrance, California. George developed throat cancer and died in Tucson, Arizona a few months prior to his planned retirement. Funeral services were held at Tucson, with burial at Riverview Cemetery, Brawley, California. Obituary, 19 May 1992 George Hayes Wilson, 58, of Tucson, a native of Benton, died Tuesday, May 19 following a brief illness. Funeral services were held at St. Odilla Catholic Church in Tucson on Friday, May 22. A second service was held at Riverview Cemetery in El Centro, CA on Saturday, May 23, with interment there. Wilson was a Catholic and one of the co-founders of Allied Signal Company of Torrance, CA, national producers of electrical components for airplanes. He is survived by his widow, Lydia Fiero Wilson; two sons, Charles L. Wilson of Hawaii, and Carl Eugene Wilson, Anaheim, CA; a brother, Charles H. Wilson, Jr., Little Rock, a sister, Mary Ann Stanley, Benton; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H., Sr. and Mary Ellen Wilson; a brother, Louis Edward Wilson, and a sister, Helen Mae Roark. Social Security Card issued in Arkansas. Last residence was (PE). I don't know what that stands for.
