  1860 CENSUS, enumerated as a widow on the 1860 U.S. Census for Suffolk County, Ward 1 City of Boston, State of Massachusetts. Her surname is incorrectly recorded as "Stimpson".
  Lydia French Stinson's pension claim on behalf of her deceased son, Edward G. F. Stinson, indicates that John Stinson abandoned his family ca 1856.
  1900 CENSUS, shows that Lydia bore 4 children and that only two were living.
  DEATH OF AGED LADY Mrs. Lidia F. Stinson Passes Away at Her Home Mrs. Lidia F. Stinson, widow of the late John Stinson died at her home at 346 Crescent street, yesterday afternoon, aged 86 years 4 months and 26 days.
  She was born in Wimont, N.H., and had resided in this city for some time. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.B. Boyce of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Fronnie Wilson of this city.
