Note: (Research):1880 Agricultural Census, Hillsborough County David had 15 acres tilled and the value of his farm was $300 and the value of his livestock was $150. 1883 TAX RECORD: Hillsborough County, reported that there was one male in his home over 21 and under 55, he had 160 acres, and that the value of personal and real property was $380. The civil condition box indicates that he is divorced. Pocahontas Emma [Kersey] Thompson is living with her brother Joseph Tallie Kersey, and the civil condition box is also checked divorced. There is another Pocahontas, a. 2y living in that household. She is probably be David and Pokey's first child. David was 2 y. old on the 1860 census and 11 y. old on the 1870 census. The 1900 census report lists his birthdate as Dec 1857. The record shows that he was born in Georgia, as well as his mother and father. Apparently his siblings were Tom, Bill, Frank, Alec, Green, Henrietta, and Sue. Tom's first wife was Lizzie, who later married a Bohea, mother of Violet, 2nd wife of Thomas Jefferson Thompson. Bill did not marry. Alec married Hortense; children, Kirby, Douglas, Emmy Lou. Frank married Hattie McClane, no children. Aunt Pet said Hattie Bishop. Green had a son, Earl, who became a Tampa attorney. Tine said a man killed Green over his wife. Henrietta married Warren Hall, a Canadian; children, Mimmoe, Sumner, Lora, Herbert, Alicia who married Graedn Messer; a preacher. Sue married Alec Tucker, children Molly, Edgar, Ellie, another boy. Children of Tom Irvin married Lillian Sue; children, Coy, Lona, Lily, Irvin. Lona married Sumner; Lily married Cornell. Tommy had Allen, who had Freddie-all deceased. Bertha had Ernestine, Louise, Melvena, William, Robert, Bertha, Hilton, Miller. Hilton and William are deceased. Mary Louise had Lois. Levada had Benson, Elmer, Bethel, Francis, all deceased. Pet had Louis Bertram and Lynwood Neeld. Ethel had Desta, Delbert, Beryl, Elvin, Pat and Judy.
