A Burrell Taylor is named in the 1822 will of Isaac Taylor of Lenoir County, North Carolina. Burrell Taylor is found on the 1800 and 1810 U.S. Census for Lenoir County, North Carolina; however, he does not appear on any later records. A Burrell Taylor is living in Wilkinson Co. on the 1820 U.S. Census. Listed are one son a. 16-26 and and three daughters, one a. 0-9 and two a.'s 10-15. A Burrell Taylor is enumerated in Perry County, Alabama on the 1830 U.S Census. In his household are 2 males, 1 0-5, 1 40-49,and 3 females, 1 0-5, 1 5-10, 1 20-30. Also enumerated in Perry County are Pleasant, Uriah, William and Brisbane or Brisbond Taylor. These Taylors were all issued land patents by the Cahaba, Alabama Land Office in Perry County on November 16, 1830. 1. Brisbane 2. Burrel 3. Hughrier 4. William Uriah and Pleasant were issued patents later. Pleasant and Uriah are later found in Lafayette Co., Mississippi. Pleasant was born about 1816 in SC and Uriah about 1782 in North Carolina. Uriah is enumerated on the 1870 U.S. Census and is 90 years old. Uriah apparently married, Nancy Tucker, d/o George Tucker, s/o Thomas Tucker b. 1812. Bartley Wynn was the Administrator for the estate of Burrell Taylor.
