Bartley's first name was John. His second wife Gatsyann Elkins was my GGgrandma.Nancy was Nancy Wynn Mize, she was Gatsyann's step-daughter,Gatsy was devestated when Bartley and Jim Mize arranged this marriage as Gatsy and Jim had an on going affair while she was married to Bartley and continued after his death. My G grandma Amanda Was concieved out of wedlock 8 months after Bartley's death,so to keep face she put on birth record Amanda Mize Wynn. Bartley was a minister and farmer in Jefferson co,Fl before going to my home town of Thomasville,Ga. I have a copy of Bartley's will. Yes,he was in fact administer of Burrell Taylors will, who I am also related to. I don't know if you know this:Gatsyann's Father needed property that Bartley owned so, Bartley at 57 agreed if he could marry Gatsyann age17. The rest is sad because she wanted to marry John Mize. John Mize lived in a big beautiful home and had several kids out of wedlock. My aunt hadbeen to his home many times with her grandfather, when she was a smallchild. My aunt said he was a very rich man and tried to take Amanda away from Gatsyann.
