Note:   (Research):Antonia Ann Wynn (Jan 1861-63- ) One Antonia Ann Wynn m. James Carlisle on 31 Mar 1889. [Bk. K, p. 500, Thomas Co., GA Marriages] Antonia was age 16 in 1880, Thomas Co., GA. I notice in a letter from James A. Rollins that he has an aunt by marriage, who was a granddaughter of Antonia Ann Wynn Carlisle. I found in Thomas County in 1900 someone named Antonia Wynn, b. Jan 1863, with children: Annie L., b. Mar 1889 (notice that this is exactly when Antonia married James Carlisle); Elma, b. Feb 1893; Clarence A., b. Apr 1896; Willie H., b. Apr 1898. [E.D. 99, Sh. 1, Dist. 1440, 1900 Thomas Co., GA Census] My question is: did she have these children while not married, or did her husband die and she took her maiden name back--I doubt that!! Perhaps, a search of Thomas Co., GA Censuses in 1900 & 1910 for Carlisles would help clear this up! I have all the Wynn/Winn families in Thomas County and I don't have another Wynn/Winn group there with a daughter named Antonia! However, it's possible a Wynn man married Antonia, who was not a Wynn.
