Capt.-Major Murdock Lenuel Lee Crum was in the U.S.M.C.. He and his second wife is buried at Oaklawn East Cemetery, Plant City, Hillsborough County, Florida.
Coming as a great surprise to his many friends here was the marriage last Thursday of Dr. M.L. Crum of this city to Miss Fannie C. Webb of Sebring, which took place at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Travia Pharnelle. Dr. Crum is one of the well known and able physicians of Fort Meade and his friends did not know that he was contemplating matrimony, but nevertheless, he is receiving the congratulations of friends. His bride was formerly a trained nurse in the Plant Memorial Hospital in Clearwater where she stayed five years. She is a graduate of the Mayfield Hospital of St. Louis and a Post graduate of the Women's Hospital of New York. After they were married they made a wedding trip in their Ford Roadster to Tampa and it appears that no one here knew of their wedding until they returned home Tuesday. They will go to housekeeping just as soon as they can secure a house, but in the mean time they are stopping at the Godwin House. End.
