Note: (Research):There is a James Hollingsworth, of Irwin County, Georgia May be Nancy Hollingsworth who married Jesse Thomas in Bulloch County, Georgia on 17 April 1809. Nancy was a widow by 1840, and on the 1840 Census for Columbia County was enumerated with four males, 1 aged 5-10, 1 aged 10-15, 1 aged 15-20 and 1 aged 20-30. There are four females, 1 aged 5-10, 1 aged 10-15, 1 aged 15-20 and one aged 50-60. Close by are enumerated William O. Thomas (a. 20-30) and John G. Thomas (a. 20-30). Living in the home of her son, Roland and his family, in 1860. Whether or not Nancy is Elizabeth's mother is unproven, but it does look likely. ************************************ September 7th 1833 - "After a sermon delivered by Brother John Tucker, the Church, Providence, met in conference and preceeded to business, the door being opened for the reception of members when Sister Nancy Thomas came forward and was received the same way that her husband, Jesse Thomas was received."
