Note:   (Research):William Earl Thompson and Eugene David Thompson enlisted in Co. G, 2nd Infantry Florida National Guard in Tampa, Florida. William enlisted on June 20 1916 and Eugene enlisted on June 21st.

  William Earl Thompson, a practicing attorney in Tampa more than 50 years, died yesterday. He was 76.
  Thompson had served as attorney for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, an assistant city attorney, an assistant county attorney and was an organizer, and served as chairman of the board, of National Bank of Tampa--now Ellis National Bank.
  A native of Riverview, he was a veteran of World War I and was a member of veterans organizations and business, civic and social groups in Tampa.
  Thompson was an author of law reviews and a director of Guaranty Title Company and several other corporations.

  Thompson Funeral services for Mr. William Earl Thompson, 76, of 813 Amelia Ave., will be held Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock at the B. Marion Reed Funeral Home Chapel; Plant Ave. at Platt St. The Rev. J. Lloyd Knox, pastor of the Hyde Park United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Mr. William Earl Pollard, Mr. James Michael Pollard, Mr. Ernest W. Pollard, Mr. A. W. Fisher Jr., Mr. Alvin R. Robin, Mr. Harry McDonald and Mrs. Gordon Hewlett. Honorary pallbearers are Mr. Vivian Gaither, Mr. Don Aries, Mr. George Cunningham, Mr. Hobart Pelhank, Mr. Magnus Flaws Jr., Mr. Leslie Blank, Mr. Walter Pierce and Mr. Frank Bartke. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Adna L. Thompson of Tampa. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 520, Live Oak, FL 32060. B.
