Note: Obituary: SALAMANCA PRESS THURSDAY MAY 17, 1956 Harold Creeley succumbs here stricken suddenly at home. Harold E. Creeley, fortynine, died suddenly this morning about 9:30 at his family home, 125 Elm Street. Mr. Creeley, who had been ill the past week, was dressing to go to his doctor's office when he was stricken and died. An autopsy to determine the cause of death is scheduled for this evening by Dr. Leo Moss. Born in Elkland Pennsylvania, he had been a resident of Salamanca New York since 1945. He formerly resided in Cowlesville. Employed by Jamestown Table Company here, he was a member of the Dad's of Foreing Service Post 91, Salamanca, the Loyal Order of Moose here, and was a social member of the Holy Cross Athletic Club. He is survived by his wife, Paulene Chapman Creeley, seven sons, William, Frank, Fred, Thomas, Lloyd which are all at home, james of Lewisburg PA, and A73c Robert of the U.S.Air Force in Arizona; three grandchildren; two daughters, Mrs. William Chamberlain of 413 Center St. and Beverly at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Seitz and Mrs. Harold Baldwin, both of Olean New York. Two brothers, William of Cliffport Florida, and John of Buffalo New New York. The body was taken to the O'Rourke and O'Rourke Funeral Home, 25 River St. Salamanca, where friends may call tomorrow. Funeral arrangements are not complete at this time.
