a. Note:   George Kalb, husband of Dorothy Bremm, may be the missing link connecting his descendants to the famous Revolutionary War General, Johann De Kalb. Born as Johannes Kalb, he had no direct male descendants other than his two sons, both of whom died without producing a male heir to carry the name.
  However, Kalb had at least one brother. I know the location of Kalb's baptismal records; if that same church has records of the rest of the Kalb line, it may be possible to make the connection between General De Kalb's brother(s) and their descendants, one of whom, hopefully is related to the George Kalb who married my great-great-great-grandmother, Dorothy.
