She moved, with her parents Henry and Catherine, to America when she was 20, settling at or near Allentown, PA where she married Christian Auxter. Mary lived with Susanna Auxter Kuns in her final years, living to the age of 86 Years, 3 months and 23 days. She left five sons, 4 daughters, 63 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Her funeral at Four-Mile-House was conducted in German and English.
