Note: 44 and confirmed into the Lutheran church on May 6, 1857 when she was 13. She married Amos Overmyer on May 24, 1863 when she was 19. They had 7 sons and two daughters. In the final 20 years of Sarah's life, she was in ill health, and in 1900 suffered a stroke that left her paralyzed and an invalid.
Note: Sarah was the 6th child of Christian and Mary. She was baptized on Dec. 26, 18
