Note: Johannes (John) was baptized as an adult at Dryland Union Church and confirmed there a few days later on 2 November 1816 at the age of 15. The church record shows that he was a son of Christian. John was married to Elizabeth Mc Kinney by Rev. Thomas Pomp. Their marriage appears in the records of the First Reformed Church at Easton, PA (Source: "Forks of the Delaware"). He was a farmer in Bethlehem Twp. In 1850 John (listed as Jno), age 50 and a farmer, was living in Bethlehem Twp., Northampton Co., PA with his wife, Elizabeth (listed as El) age 51, and four of their children; Isaac T. (listed as Is) age 28, Absalom (listed as Abs) age 25, Catharine age 23 and John Jr. (listed as Jno) age 15. John had real estate valued at $10,000. (1850 census, Northampton Co., PA, Bethlehem Twp., pg. 263, house #186) John and his wife, Elizabeth, are buried in St. John's Church cemetery at Farmersville. John left a will (Northampton County estate file #7013). John had real estate value at $10,000.
