Note: Joyce Nunn Shumate (Thomas Lee Nunn, Robert Leander Nunn, John E. Nunn, Joseph Brown Nunn) indicates in her records Samuel Abernathy Nunn was born April 18, 1851 in Fayette County, Alabama and died on April 18, 1905 in Port Lavaca, Texas. He married Louisa S.Bowman on November 20, 1876, she died in 1879 from apparently childbirth. He married Mary P. McAdams on January 2, 1881 in Van Zandt County, Texas and Martha Virginia Bateman Parker on November 7, 1886 in Van Zandt County, Texas. Since all the other brothers and sisters of Joseph and Mary Nunn were born in Alabama, I question the entry I previously was given - Stokes, County, So.Carolina.
