Note: burried at sea this was in 1872. Grandpa Johann was a miller. Straatmann means streetman. It is said that the boy who died was about 14 to 16 years of age this was told to me by my dad Martin Straatmann years back before Martins death in 1980. Martin was the son of Fokko and Antje.
Note: One of the boys died coming over to the us it was either John or Andreas he was
